Elemental Devotion

This is a Daily Devotion that I use on a regular basis. It's a bit lengthy, but very satisfying. I also use the opening prayer as the invocation when creating sacred space and the elemental portions to address the four directions in calling quarters. Just substitute your Craft name in place of where I have put mine and enjoy, modify as you will. May peace be with you all.

Father Sky and Mother Earth
Powers of Spirit
I am Medicine Hawk

He who honors the passing of the moons and the passing of the seasons.
Who honors Gaia, the Earth Mother as a living, breathing being and acknowledges Her as the Lifegiver and sustainor of all things.
I am one with the universe.
I invoke the positive universal energies, that I might perform this day, in perfect love and perfect trust, the work at hand.
So Mote It Be !

Elements of the East, Powers of Air,
I am Medicine Hawk

He who honors the Goddess and the God.
Who honors the feminine and masculine balance in all things.
I greet you this day, in perfect love and perfect trust.
Bless me this day with patience, strong will, courage and mental harmony.
So Mote It Be !

Elements of the South, Powers of Fire,
I am Medicine Hawk

He who honors the maiden, mother and crone.
Who honors the warrior, elder and sage.
I greet you this day, in perfect love and perfect trust.
Blesss me this day with compassion and healing, which I may draw into others and unto myself.
So Mote It Be !

Elements of the West, Powers of Water,
I am Medicine Hawk

He who honors the spiritual paths of all others and considers them as valid.
Who acknowledges that all paths lead to the same center.
I greet you this day, in perfect love and perfect trust.
Bless me this day with health and transform me into what I want to be and what I am to become.

Who honors the Rede and the Law of Three.

Protectors of my spirit,
