General Esbat Ritual

Arrange alter and cast circle. Invite the God and Goddess.

"Once more I come to share my joy of life and to reaffirm my feelings for you, Lady and Lord. You have been good to me. It is right that I thank you for all that I have. You also know that I have needs and you listen to me when I call upon you."

Meditate and thank Goddess and God for gifts given and ask for things needed.

"And it harm none, do as you will. Thus runs the Wiccan Rede. I remember those words well. What ever I desire, what ever I would ask of you, what ever I may do; I assure that it will harm no one--not even myself. And I remember that as I give so it shall return three fold. Give of myself--my love; my life--and I will be thrice rewarded, but if I send forth harm and that too will return thrice over."

Chant, music, or song. Whatever moves you.

"Beauty and strength are in me, Lord and Lady, both. Patience and love; wisdom and knowledge are you unchanging gifts."

A Full Moon or New Moon Rite may now be performed, followed by Sabbat observation, then cakes and ale.
