Preperations For scrying with a mirror

Make a circle, welcome the elements and any other deities you wish to have present. Take a mirror and Put a special object at the north, south, east, and west, declaring it to bring the power of that element to your workings. Sprinkle herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage, bay leaves) around the mirror in a clockwise fashion and then draw a little from each point (north south, east, west) to the middle and ask the Lord and Lady to arise and show you the future. You can chant, sing or simply sit and watch for a scrying to occur, I found that chanting helped to invoke the deities into showing me something. For me (and this might/will vary) I saw the mirror turn misty and cloudy, sorta blueish I guess, then an image appeared, it may be cryptic, symbolic or hard to understand, but bear with it, it takes time to be able to fully understand scrying.
