Spell To Help A Cat Find A Loving Home

Moon phase:
Waxing (new to full), close to New Moon (crescent Moon)

Items needed:
- One brown candle.
- Catnip.
- Your cauldron or a fireproof bowl.
- A piece of paper and pencil. (If you can find dove’s blood ink, it’s better)
- Offerings for the deities. (Wine and cakes, for instance).

Spell:
Cast your circle.
Invoke Deities. (I’ve chosen Cernunnos and Bast.)
“I humbly call upon the Divine Ones to bless this Circle with Their presence. I call Bast, the Divine Daughter of Ra and I call Cernunnos, The Horned One, to come in aid of Their children”.

“Divine Bast, Silver Moon Lady, Eye of Rah, I call on you on this hour of need because one of your furry children is in trouble. It needs a home with love and protection, safe from frost and hunger, away from car wheels and stupid humans. Please, cast your Moonlight blessing upon it and may a moonbeam light its way to a new home”.

“Oh Horned One, Lord of the Wild Beasts, I call on you to aid this little cat, because no cat has ever been truly tamed. It’s a wild beast at heart, and needs your help to find a safe place, away from humans who would torture it and kill it just for fun. Please, send forth the Forest Spirits to find a home for it and guide it safely there”.

Write down in the piece of paper the kind of person you want to adopt the cat.

Charge the candle and herbs with your wish, visualizing the cat to be happy at its new home, well fed and happily purring in the arms of a loving person.

Light the candle, sprinkle catnip around it, and burn the paper inside your cauldron, adding some catnip as well.

Meditate as the candle burns, focusing again on your wish.

When the candle is burned, thank the Divine Ones for their assistance and place your offering in an offering bowl.

Open your circle.

Go outside and throw the ashes to the wind, letting your wish to start its journey.

Put what’s left of the candle, offerings and herbs in a small bag and carry it with you until your wish is granted. Then bury it in the ground
