Using "healed" quartz crystals and double ended points

I've found very little in print about the use of "healed" quartz crystals and Double Ended points for healing.

Okay, first of all, a "healed" point is one that was broken in the ground, but the crystal formed a new surface over the break. Sometimes, this is a kind of striated and smooth surface, but if the crystal had a long time to heal, this will actually form suggestions of new points aligned with the original one.
Double ended points are crystals that have a complete end at both ends of the shaft (as opposed to double terminated which have two or more points on the same end of the shaft).

Now we've found that these crystals can be very good for enhancing healing. This appears to be because the natural resonance of quartz seems to act as a tuning fork for the body. It retunes the bodies energies into a more harmonic vibration. Rather than include a specific chant, we advise you to cleanse the crystals each time they are used, both before and after you have used the crystal in a treatment. Also, prior to actually giving the crystal to the patient, we advise charging it in some way. The best cleansing seems to be washing with alcohol, vinegar, and salt and exposing the quartz to bright sunlight for a day. The best charging seems to be exposing the quartz to the light of the moon for a week (this is both the second and third quarters, and is not specifically a waxing/waning moon).

Also, we've found that charging the quartz with colored lights (the choice of color is based on any color magic text for the purpose) for about six to eight hours. In addition, I like to use a charging of the body energies. Basically, after I've centered, relaxed, attuned myself to the Bright Powers and invoked them, I build up my energies via a combination of rythmic breathing and mantras. As the energy level peaks, I focus it into my palms and then send it via touch and breath into the crystal (be sure to readjust your energy level to normal levels and do a thanks and dismissal when charging the crystal this way; failure to do a dismissal will connect you to the energy of whatever disease or injury you're trying to heal).

The healed crystal specifically assists when there has been an injury. This would include broken bones, scrapes, bruises, or even the post-operative trauma and pain. After cleansing and recharging the crystal, we place it in contact with the surface near the injury. This seems to alleviate the pain to some degree, but also clearly speeds the physical processes of rebuilding.

Every book on the subject contains references to the facility of a double ended quartz crystal in strengthening the aura and as a protective talisman. We have found that is also useful in resisting infectious diseases, including colds etc.

We have not experimented yet on the concept of combining the two energies to treat systemic diseases such as asthma, nerve problems, or even monsters like Cancer and diabetes. In theory, however, it should be effective; and there are cases in the literature of quartz assisting the other procedures in fighting cancer.
