Knot to banish negativity

In your sacred area, spread some salt around. It doesn't have to be very big, depending on the size of your knot. Take a piece of black cord or string and tie a knot that will be easy to untie again. Charge the knot with a symbol of the negative energy you want banished, be it in yourself or someone else. Set the knot atop the salt, and let it sit for however many days you feel is nessisary. When you feel it is time to untie the knot, concentrate on the negative energy you have charged it with being released, leaving you or the person you are casting the spell for, bringing happiness in their life.
