Simple Control Spell

======= Begin Submitted Ritual ===========

Some young witches have parnets, who dont understand things. They may be religious. The child might want to be a witch and cast a spell, and the parents ground them so here is a spell I found out is very easy to do, with the help of a friend or family member who is interested in witch craft as well, or is just learning about it.

What You Need:

Three red candles, incense (the favorite smell of your parent or gaurdian), a recent picture of him/her, a bowl (half full of water doesnt matter the size), two teaspoons of sugar, and a piece of clothing they will wear the next day.

The spell:

Set the bowl on your alter, if you do not have one, it can easily be replaced with a desk or a stack of old books, because this could get messy if the spirits decide to have fun like with me.

Put one red candle in the very center of the bowl. Take the other two and set them beside the bowl on each side (one left and one right).

Light the candle that is inside the water first.
then whisper the words:

I here by command you to understand,
Thy word is best, you must understand.
<Relative>(example Uncle, Aunt or dad)
Please understand that my beliefs are as
pure as the springs of every mountain,
and as stern as a raving mad horse.

<Relative> Please understand thy word.
The power of understanding, overcome
thy relative.

Then dip the shirt, or other garment of clothing in the water, twisting it around the candle.

Then light the other tow candles, while saying the words:
Give thy relative the power of understanding.
Give thy relative the power of understanding.
Give thy relative the power of understanding.

Comments and Changes:

Now, we realize how frustrating it is to be "under 18" and living under the control of people that may not understand or allow you to practice Wicca. It is certainly very harmful to a persons ego to be denied something that they truely love. It can cause people to do something that is extreme. BUT, remeber, that no matter what your age is ... if you are living under someone elses roof and are not "renting", then you should always try to abid by their rules. Especially if you are under 18, your "parents" MIGHT know better.

Ok ... the problem with the above spell is that you are controlling another persons freedom of thought. Take notice of the line "I here by command you to understand" in particular. Not only will this spell probably not work (this is certainly a big request), but if it does ... it will only work for a VERY short time, AND you will get a NEGATIVE return of the 3-fold law.

A very simple way to make the above spell non-controlling is to re-word the spell to say something to the effect of:

"God and Goddess, your law is what I follow"
"I ask that my body radiate with my inner beliefs"
"Let it shine with devotion"
"The activities that I partake in .. let them harm none"
"To control another, I do not wish"
"Let my energy be positive"
"So that others may see my devotion"
"So that others may see who I truely am"

Note that that chant was written real quick and certainly does not rhyme, but it also controls no one. You are asking for a change in yourself that others may see. And trust me ... if you believe those words they will see. If they still do not "accept" you or your beliefs .... then that is their choice. Right or wrong ... everyone still does have the freedom of choice.
