Introduction To Some Bad Spell Ideas

Over the last 3 years of trying to educate people about the negative impacts of "Controlling Magick", some people still do not understand exactly what this means. So, with a lot of thought and hesitation, we felt that we should put up some examples of "Questionable" spells and tell you how we would make the same spell "un- questionable".

We hope that by offering these direct and vivid displays, we can all learn how to achieve the same results from a non-controlling spell.

Please note that this section is certainly not meant to offend anyone, but rather offered as an educational section.

A Little Info Before We Begin:
As discussed on many other parts of this website ... "controlling" or "harming" spells and rituals are typically not very positive in the Wiccan religion. It is a general thought that everything you send out will return to you (eventually) by 3 times the strength (The 3-fold law and Karma). Now, since the basic energy force is un-thinking (as discussed in the "Craft Study Section") this return of energy may hit you like a brick-wall and may also affect others around you.

For example, if you do a "controlling" spell to cause someone to get sick, when the energy "returns" to you it will be 3 times stronger ... which may result in your death. Nasty reprecussions, huh ? Now, lets say that you wish, and preform a ritual, to cause someone's death. Let's just say you were actually able to cause the person to die. When this energy returns to you it is going to be REAL nasty. Not only might you die, but 2 of your friends may also die. Who knows exactly what might happen.

We realize that the above 2 examples are extreme, but this is some serious business. Lets say you just simply do a controlling Love Spell ... if it succeeds ... when the energy returns to you it may do many different things. Maybe YOU will suddenly be under the control of another. Maybe you will get the flu. Or maybe your new "love" will become so infactuated with you that he kidknaps you and takes you away in chains to his mountain hide-away. No one knows exactly what will happen.

There are some simple ways to avoid "controlling" type spells. Do not use any names unless you have their direct permission to include them in your spell. Try to always do a spell to "better" YOURSELF rather than change someone else. Finally, if you would not want it done to you ... definately do not do it to another!
